Linda asks Jane Austen where she could find something suitable to wear.
Jane suggested we visit the fashion museum.
Linda picked out this dress.
Flowers are everywhere in Bath
We stopped by Highgrove to visit Prince Charles and Camilla
Unfortunately they weren't home so we toured their royal gardens (next 4 photos)
Our apartment is off to the back of a hotel in the small village of Blockley which is in the middle of the rural Cotswolds. Behind us is the church where they film Father Brown. It was built 1180 (side view above).
Between us and the church is the cemetery. Many graves had dates going back hundreds of years.
The church (front view) looked much more ominous at night. We could not figure out why an eerie green light was shining through the steeple. Later, when it was too late, we would understand.
We decided to take an evening stroll through the graveyard.
The villagers warned us that it was unwise to enter an 800 year old graveyeard after dark. Unfortunately, we didn't listen.
It happened just after Linda snapped this photo.
The next morning we left Blockley on bikes.
We took the following photos of the beautiful countryside and villages as we biked through the Cotswolds (the next 12 photos)
This pub was built over 400 years ago.
This was the house design Linda was looking for when we built our house 35 years ago
It's dusk as we return to Blockley. No cemetery walks tonight, it's our 40th anniversary.
